Bullock Harbour alternative?

#1 Post by Stephen8wood »

Does anyone know of alternative self drive motor boat rental places other than Bulloch Harbour? I'm looking for a change of scenary and hopefully a fish or two. It would need to be within a 30 min drive from Dun Laoghaire.

€100 for four hours. That would buy a lot of gear. I was hoping to have a change of scenery but I can get a boat from Bulloch for the same time and it will coat me €80. Does anyone think that the inshore waters around Wicklow harbour will be worth the extra €20 compared to the virtually fished out Dalky waters?

I know John but the trawlers were in around the Muglins again yesterday. I've had some decent catches here in the past and expect some more but I've also had some days where there seems to be nothing but micro whiting on offer.

You are right Twinkle. It's just two of us on Saturday though. I might give Dick Hayes a shout to see if he has any room on his boat for Saturday.

That looks to be a pretty poor attempt to be honest. €200 for a day out in a Longliner..... Why did I ever sell mine!
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D
