Where should i launch my kayak in chicago? i'm planning on kayaking from from chicago to michigan, but i'm not sure where to launch it from. also, if you know of a safer place let me know because i'd rather not risk getting run over by a boat. and if it had to be somewhere other than chicago, i'd rather it be north of chicago, because i'm heading east by north-east, so i'd rather not make it further.
