Report:Headed out with Davy to try and pop my Mullet cheery and wasnt disapointed!! Arrived at the spot to see fish moving already. Positioned ourselves to have a few casts at them while we waited for the tide to fill. Changed location as the fish started to move on past us. Not long after moving I was baiting the swim and as I looked up my float started to pull to the right, I lifted the rod and bingo fish on. Looked a good fish but I didnt go to mental. Got its head into some weed after a while and I started to panic but Davy made his way over and landed it for me. It weighed in at 3.75lb. Pics to follow courtsey of my guide.
Fantastic result Jonny, its been almost a year coming (I notice you were using one of my rigs) problem is ,thats you hooked on the buggers as well loking forward to seeing the pics , wonder what'll be in the background to give away the mark.
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
Was chuffed to watch you play and land your first mullet
There was a few hairy moments when it picked up all that weed You done well landing it once it had picked that weed bed up

Its always worth travelling to get the right fish !! Dont know what the big facination is with them though they are a bit boring !! Only joking Davy Ronald It was your lucky rig that clenched it.
