Shannon Estuary

#1 Post by ennagail24 »

Is anybody heading out the Estuary fishing at the weekend? I think i will be launching in Tarbert rather than Killkee as the long term forcast is for winds?

It will be the first sea launch of the new boat and would love to get shown some good spots

Not that I know of sorry, I know there is a club based in Fenit/Tralee and another in Galway Bay and in Kilkeee what/where are you interested in going? What part of the country are you in?

I'm in Limerick and basically returning to angling after years away. I used to fly fish but my sea-angling was limited to summer holiday mackerel fishing. Now while this is enjoyable I would like to start going after some of the other beasties of the deep. I suppose its something I'd like myself and the young lad do together.
