well done on your pb congor eric nice one
there is only one thing i find difficult to understand, that is why the hell are you wearing waders fishing from the rocks, just one slip and you might be brown bread they would act like kite in the water.
and with currents around this aera you would have no chance, if it were a case you made it back to the rocks do you think you would be able to climb out, i think not.
im only thinking of your safety kido not picking on ya

ps. at the stage your at know you should be setting an example

i have no problem wearing waders on the boat shane as i will wear them in conjunction with a lifejacket
also if on a boat you do go overboard there is a better chance of recovery as you can start the engine and try to pick the casualty up, if you go in off rocks in to a tidal stretch at night what enging are you going to start then, the lifeboat one id say for a body recovery :|

In all seriousness is it not lethal wearing waders on a boat, shurley they either fill with water which wont be good or fill with air and cause you to turn upside down, also im sure they would hinder a scramble back on board or onto rocks. I see a lot of lads wearing waders on boats am i missing somthing?

water is the same density (ie. weight) inside waders and outside waders. it doesnt get heavier just because its gone into the waders. if you fall off a rock into the sea from a height waders or no waders your in serious trouble anyway. hypothermia, the risk off getting bashed against the rocks from the swell and panic are all going to put a nail in your coffin.

all the above falicies are myths, heres some interesting info off people who have indeed swam with waders on.'

OMG really?' i hear you ask,

Nice conger Eric! Not sure about the kissing, think its time you got a woman!

As for the waders, pure nonsense about them being dangerous. I love when people say you'll sink cos of the water inside them!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

ya this waders myth makes me laugh..unfortunately ive had a few incidents slippin in a fast river and can assure you they didnt make me sink..was able to float feet first until it got shallow enough to get out, lay on my back and emptied them...

8) great result and super report lads, in relation to the waders issue I keep it with Abe Lincoln who once said: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."
