Co.Wexford 10th July

#1 Post by FRANK1 »

Stella Maris SAC Club

7 - 12pm

Full Around 10pm

Wet ,Windy and Wavy

Lug,crab,rag,fresh mack,sandeel

1 up 1 down and 2 hook flapper

2 flounder and 1 bass (on my last cast).4 of the 8 seniors blanked and best bag was 4 fish. Some dogs, small smoothies, dab and a codling were landed

We arrived at the beach to wet and windy weather.looked after my dads friends 5 year old in the car. when the rain eased off we got our gear on and went down to beach. quiet start nothing for the 1st 3 hours. got 2 flounders in 3 casts in the last hour and a half.last cast felt like a lump of weed.pulled it in and saw a 42cm bass on the sand.won the pool.the old man blanked. :D .

KongerKid

Not much makes up for a blank in a comp but the smile when your 11 year old pulls in his first bass helps .
