People:myself and Brian from work

Duration:19:30 to 23:15

Tide:low 21:25 1.5m

Weather:misty

Bait:sandeel,feathers

Rigs:feathers,2 hook flapper

Results:myself 3 thornback ray,2 dogfish,5 whiting,3 mackerel,2 pollack Brian 1 dogfish

Report:a young lad that works with me wanted to try sea fishing so headed to the north connemara mark that I knew would produce some fish

after showing him how to set up and cast out I started to set up my own rods and cast out and on the first cast had a ray and whiting

Brian didn't manage the feathers very well so I showed him how to set up a sandeel on the bait rod and after awhile he landed a dogfish
Brian's dog.JPG
I tried the feathers for awhile and had a couple of mackerel and the biggest pollack so far this year

then had another 2 ray and whiting doubles

finished off the session with a dog
