#1 Post by tommyc »

Only recently bought a small boat with a 30 hp mariner engine. Im wondering what kind of speed would the boat go at full trottle taking into account the engine is about 9 years old but in excellent condition as it was well looked after.

To answer that we would need to know the type of boat it's on.

Total species boat/shore: 45

As Donal said, the type of boat and hull will be needed.
I have a Bonwitco 400C with a 25hp - she goes 24kts with me, wife & 2 kids aboard, against a head wind......
