Report:very simple session just arrived in point trying cach some good pollack but they didn't show them selfs that day only couple of tiny ones so just enjoed full houses of macs for a while as start to be boring than sit with float for wrasse got plenty of them but size wasn't big 1,5lb would be bigest aswell i enjoied a big family of dolphins passed near by wonderfull.

nice one grady full strings of mack fight well on the spinning gear have you tried using hardback crabs to avoid the smaller wrasse? well handy with the recession just turn over a few rocks at low tide and collect as many free crabs as you need for a session

thanks for advice al and J never tryed yet sometimes i see 1 euro size wee crabs crouling but never had it used ye it very hard get trough the small ones i wonder its enough just tie them on the hook?

thanks brian this spot could be very good for large wrasse but this mark could be very packed by anglers so its hard to find good spot

Your getting the sessions in rightly now grady, happy days It's good to see you getting a few mackerel, it's always good to have a few. You can't beat fresh bait and mackerel are a great bait for targeting many different types of species.
Nice wrasses you caught. If you want to target the slightly bigger ones then what I have found works as the best bait is hard back crabs. They can be found amongst the weed and under rocks at any low tide mark along the shore.I then fish them live. How I put them on the hook is to pull off one of the back legs and peirce the hook threw the hole and gently threw the back shell. That way they riggle about in the water attracting any hungry wrasse that may be lurking about over to it and hopefully they will take it. Good luck for the rest of the summer
