Fishing Self and Bro in law

Launched out of Bullock Harbour at 13.00 .Went up to mack /launce mark and picked up enough for days bait fairly quickly .Went out to muglins and got a good few scrappy pollack gilling worm which was great crack ,Shot out then to Kish bank to fish top of tide for a couple of hours and got one female ray to about 8lb and a few dogs.Bit disappointing as I thought with fresh launce and macks (and frozen crab and kalamari) hanging off the edge of the bank could take anything.Anyway what a day and finished off nicely with a couple of cold ones to clear the salt out .First ray on launce and she lives to fight another day ,

Well done m8, nice to see you picked up some bait, they are still scrappy over towards Howth at the moment.

Out with him Yesterday (Wed), we took his new boat for a spin which turned out to be a great days fishing, hopefully he'll have many more like it.
