the fishing around the port in daytime will be very patchy maybe some dabs, dogs and coalie but that apart it will be poor enough.if i where you i would try the rocks behind the convent in portstewart has produced some good fish during the day rough ground but that is the best place i would say or the rocks at ballyrea park at the gulf club and walk over the fairway and down to the rocks but watch for the odd rogue wave mate.

this time of year during daylight will be slow enough anywhere around portrush, if you want a good nights sport with smaller fish from the beach try the west strand anywhere around the opposite end from the harbour. a few years back around this time of year it produced several different species of small fish , 3 every cast.the hours of darkness are almost a must for most of the venues beach or rock around the port from now on though.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
