Re: Colour Fish Finders
To be honest would you buy a black and white TV.
Once you get the grip of colour you'll wonder why you ever thought of B & W
This is what a ball of herring looks like on colour.
Pic 2 shows the end of the shole and the true depth
pic 1 shows the depth at 32.2 feet but the red section at the botton of the screen is the true depth. just lest than 55 feet.

Re: Colour Fish Finders
I'm thinking of picking one of these up. Are they hard to fit. As of now we have no electronics in the boat so i just fish along reefs and gullies not knowing if there's anything down there. I usually come across fish but i can't help thinking my chances would be improved if i had a few of these type of gadgets plumbed into the mishka.
Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark

Easy to fit, you just put your transducer onto the transom, run a cable through, feed it to your power source and it splits off to your unit mountevan699 wrote:I'm thinking of picking one of these up.
