wicklow plaice 14-6-10

People:me, sod ,and drummer

Duration:8 till 12

Tide:hw 12 ish

Weather:nice, horrid then nice :D

Bait:crab and rag

Rigs:pullys and two hook clipped

Results:dogs ,dabs,flounder and plaice




Report:not alot to report really fishing was slow with most fish comming after dark and not one smoothy not even a pup,alot of mussel washed up at the hw line ,drummer got both plaice on 3/0 pennell rigs on crab :shock: nice to see a few showing up :wink: the weed turned up for the last half hour so no one tempted to stay too late :cry:

That plaice is a sweet little catch,they are a lovely looking fish. It's good to see a few knocking around in different places this year. Could be a good sign if they are given a chance to get a foothold in those areas.

i have a knack of pulling fish out of the water that arnt expected i suppose i should be glad i catch at all :!:
