Report:
After finally finishing all my exams I was itching to get for a chuck. I had happened to mention to a few folk in work that I was heading out for a session and the interest it received was crazy, ended up heading down to a pier that on it's day produces some great fishing. The "mob" included 4 fellas and 2 girls, all very eager to catch a few fish and have a good time.
The weather had been great all day until we set up our rods and a cast in, but it didn't dampen out spirits and the craic was still great. My mate Stuart was 1st off the mark with a decent coalfish on the 1st chuck which really set the tone for the rest of the session. Lots of micro Pollock until the sun went down then the fishing turned on.
The guys from work all know me as the 1 that is always up for a laugh but seen a very different side to me whilst fishing. Concentration from start to finish
After dark the shore rockling came on the feed, and I managed a few nice fish up to about 3/4 of a pound, which is for sure a pb for me. Also plenty of sea scorpions about after dark.
All in all was a great nights fishing and craic as company was interesting to say the least. I have included some pic's below by my dodgy camera man
