People: me and my daughter

Duration: 2hrs either side of both tides!

Tide: both

Weather: beautiful

Bait: mackerel - preseved lug

Rigs: x2 hook flappers

Results: x2 baby ling!...x1 'good' doggy



Report: headed for Donaghadee bout 4.30am...was fishing from 5-8am not a bite...not even a crab...so re-stocked the bait box and my daughter and I headed for Ballyhalbert to meet the 6.40pm evening tide was fishing bout 5pm and first cast my daughter had the first of 2 'small' ling, I managed a health doggy...so all returned happy...have blanked x3 time now at the Dee so puttin it down the recent dredging...shame cause its a great 'safe' spot to take the kids

We have been fishing the dee abit recently hand have been picking up plenty of coaies, flounders and an odd wrasse. we have found that the fishing has actually improved since the dredging although there seems to be a certain patch that the fish seem to be on!!

would agree with that...won't put me off m8 think its a great spot... :D
