sonik continental 16"

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

As Rodger said take a look in the for sale section, friend got an Ian Golds rod recently, he was using a Sonic up to that but i believe the sonic has been relegated, Ian Golds rod superb 14ft 2 section rod perfect for beach casting

Be skeptical about what you read, Brian - very very few reviews are impartial, and just about everything in the magazines is pure PR.

ive got the 14ft version its a beautiful rod it shows the smallest bites but it doesnt shake in the wind i fish with people that have ziplexs and they were saying its a really nice rod and they couldnt stop picking it up and looking at it and telling the lads to come over and look at the rod i couldnt stop laughing!!!

but anyway its a really nice rod and i'd buy it but first ask if you can try it out fishing with a person you now that has the rod or a tackle dealer that you know i'd only buy a rod that i like the feel of.

hope this helps :D :D
