Bait:sandeel (and nearly mussel)

Results:nada,nothing,blankety blank.
Report: didn't stay that long. No bites at all and I casted at all distances. Used sandeel in hope of whiting,dogs etc and brought frozen mussel to try and tempt a coalie or cod but after the 50 min cycle to the beach and an hour on the beach it was stil frozen solid
shows how cold it was. Fairly disapointing but have very little experience here in winter. Any tips for Newcastle at this time of year? Think it may have partly been because it was so calm. Tight lines.col
