Codling!

Anyone have any good tips for fishing codling from the beach up here in Donegal??

Yeah, go to some other part of the country! Charter boat skipper out of Killybegs had 11 cod for the whole season.

heard reports a couple of years ago around this time of year of some codling being caught from the shore on the donegal side of lough foyle. dont ask me for specific mark cos i dont know but i imagine somewhere in greencastle/moville area...?

On up past Greencastle towards Shroove I'm guessing? There was piece in Sea Angler bout 8 years ago about White Bay, whiting, flounder and dabs was what it suggested was available. Never bothered trying there always headed for Kinnogoe or further round the penninsula.
