ringsend slipway

does anyone know if you can use the slip way on york road in ringsend ? :?: .....its beside where the liffey meets the river doder and where grand canal basin meets the liffey ????..

The only slip I've used is the public one at the new Marina/Boat Club (is this the one you mean?).

If so, a couple of things to keep in mind:

It was (and still is as far as I know) a public slipway but when the Marina was built it blocked off a lot of access to the slip and made it harder for the Joe Public to use it.
Parking at the top can be very tight.
The lower half of the slip is VERY slippery - nearly lost the trailer one time.
Its a fair distance from there to open water, down the liffey and the likes of Howth can have you on fishing grounds much quicker.

No thats not it. I dont know if you know paddys rowing club its be side there rowing club ?(there rowing club is just beside east link bridge) there is 2 rowing clubs so dont get confussed and i know the slipway you are talking about its diffcult to use and risky ... there should be a proper slipway built down there after all its the biggest port in Dublin.

yea i know the paddys slip thats more messy than the stella one
if ya cant fish in heaven i dont wanna go!!!!!!!!!
