Alrite lads heard on the grapevine off a mate of a mate that just past Courtown there was a 16lb bass caught last week any truth in this????????

i heard the same kinda story about an 18lb bass from the same aera 4 weeks ago

when i see the picture i will beleive it

but you are aware of the fact that fish are the only species habituating this planet of ours which have a tendency to grow rapidly after their demise, especially so when the bearers of the news are fed on alcoholic beverages?

Heard this story too, fish was 16.5lb and was released, still waiting for the pics that I was promised.

At least it was released heard it takes 25-30 years to grow to dat size

If i caught a fish like that i'd have the photos plastered all over the net, so i'd be thinkin the same as the rest of the lads on here. I'd believe it when i see a photo of the fish hanging from a scales.
