Head Lights - Petzl MYO XP
Lads
I know there has been some discussion on headlights recently and there seems to be a wide varity of makes out there and also price/opinions.
However I have been doing some looking around and this one seems to be very well priced for what it does. (Approx £52.00) and takes 3 AA Batteries, hence you are not paying for a recharagable battery pack.
Its not waterproof but is water resistant and has up to 150 lumens on the boost setting. (4 settings in total and 100hrs at optimium)
Does anyone have one of these and how do you rate it.
Thanks
Mick001

Re: Head Lights - Petzl MYO XP
myself and a few friends have the myo xp, cant complain, all the light you need for close work on beaches and its lightweight, some others in the club use the princeston apex, these are a bit brighter, but slightly bulkier, again ,good lamp.
the ultras, etc are all smashing bright headlights, but some would argue that they can be too bright and strong at times for just fishing!!!

I'd agree,,,they would have been great in London during the Blitz for spotting the Luftwaffe
