which is best padded longest rod bag

#1 Post by last cast lad »

Hi over the last 2 years I have been quite sore on the rings of my beachcaster rods(much to the delight of John at my local tackle shop) as I often carry them with me in the van during work if I plan to be out that night. Spinning rods are fine as I have room in the van for a section of 4" ducting pipe secured permanently in the van to house them.
The best padded bag as far as my research as found is the imax but I need one to be 2.1m as two rods I use a lot are 2 piece 13'
Please can someone help with this as my only other alternative seems to be investing in 2 new 3 piece rods to fit into a shorter bag
It's all about the fishing

I have the extendable salt one myself, great holdall, however I have found you have to be very careful when sliding in rods that are not in there own rod bag as I have bent a few eyes putting rods away. Its not padded, but is very well made.

If you want an indiviual rod bag then I think something like the zziplex rog bag would suit you as they look very hard wearing and are padded aswell.
