lead size and line diameter

just a note to all casting , newbies in particular , try all the different leads if possible to find which one really suits you or in the case of the more serious casters , to become better right accross the board ,
175 gram lead uses .35 line
150 gram lead uses .31 line
125 gram lead uses .28 line
100 gram lead uses .25 line

leads are available at 50cent each .

no problems ,
you can get all the line diameters in the following brands that we recomend for casting,
daiwa tournament
sakuma nite crystal
aiken ultima distance
all are high viz and sit well on the reels for casting ,
ultima powerflex leader is the most common used .
HIGH VIZ LINE ONLY

SHOCK LEADERS - To be high visibility/fluorescent and minimum 0.75mm for 150gr, 175gr and 200gr and minimum 0.65mm for 50gr, 75gr, 100gr & 125gr (as supplied by UKSF), with at least 8 complete turns on the reel when ready to cast.

cheers paddy have been using 50lb up till now but 2 casts with the big danny and the leader broke both times :roll:

NO LINE OTHER THAN HIGH VIZ LINE IS ALLOWED ON THE COURT
anybody casting that doesnt have high viz line just ask and we will give you some 8)
