Portaferry- 5/3/10

People- just me

Duration- 2.00pm-5.30pm

Weather- light- moderate breeze and clear

Tide- Push, High and Drop i think

Bait- Lug and Whites

Rigs- 2 up 1 downs, flappers, wishbones and pulleys

Results- Codling to 24cm, a coalie at 26cm and a smallish pollack

Report- A Couple of weeks ago i hit Portaferry pier, not expecting very much considering the time of day, but on the second cast i noticed a small rattle, turned out to be a small codling at 22cm, shortly after i had another at 24cm. after another 1.5 hours had a nice coalie and then a pollack on the last cast.
Lure caught Fish 2014- Pollack, Coalie, Pouting, Poor Cod, Dab, Cod, Whiting, Flounder, Plaice, Bass, SeaTrout, Grey Gurnard, Scad, SandSmelt, Red Gurnard, Launce, Lesser Sandeel, Rock Goby, Black Goby, Shanny, Mackerel, Herring, Dragonet, Ballan Wrasse, Corkwing Wrasse, GoldSinney Wrasse, Lesser Weaver, Butterfish, Perch, Pike

Fly Caught Fish 2014- Pollack, Coalie, Whiting, Mackerel, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Perch, Roach

Biggest Fish of 2014-15lb Conger Eel
