at last it a bass 7-5-10

#1 Post by plumster »

People:myself

Duration:4 hours

Tide:high about 8pm

Weather:cold ne wind

Bait:lug crab

Rigs:

Results:1 bass

Report:

spent the first 3 hours fishing a good surf without a bite so packed up and moved to another mark where i met eeler and his mate setting up ,felt more confident of catching a fish now after seeing eelers 2 bass from the previous week, not from this mark though but i knew he knew where to catch them. first cast and straight into a fish ,maybe only a little over a pound but my first bass since 2008 :D stayed on for maybe an hour but the lines were like clothes lines after only a minute and with the cold NE breeze i'd had my fill. :D :D 8)

cheers declan, fishing for seatrout in the estuary was for me last year my best ,changed tactics and had great results ,hoping this year will be even better, take it you moved to waterford, lucky you ,expect a pm after the ban.
