Clondalkin Fishes Arklow Sth Pier

Clondalkin Deep Sea Angling are fishing in arklow sth pier @ 9am until 4pm this Sunday 20th Nov; we are doing a winner takes all and winner takes all no 2nd/3rd/ prizes; at moment Kitty stands at 700.00 up for grabs; cost of entry is 50.00 per angler payable on the day

how did the day out go??who claimed the kitty,was much caught,etc ??

Well the day worked out very well fishing was slack but plenty of realy small Pollocl/Whiting/Dabs; The weather was realy cold starting off, but picked up at about noon and was very warm beleave it or not;? a total of 14 anglers from Clondalkin Club arrived and the kitty was won with a total of 13 fishes, all released alive and well. The winner took home 650 euros and the winner for the biggest fish got 140 euros. not bad for such small fish, we just counted a fish as a fish not weight or species, due to the lack of them. over all it was a great day and we got some fishing in;
