Donaghadee- Drew- 2 Coalies, 1 Pollack and 1 Sea Scorpion
Myself- 1 Coalie, 1 Ballan Wrasse and 1 Pouting

Millisle- I decided to hit the lagoon for the Mullet, but they didnt even show this afternoon, so headed round to a corner where we fish for pollack and gobbies, etc, managed 1 shanny and a few crabs before going bait digging for this evenings session.

Donaghadee- Got there at around 6ish, not much happened for an hour or so, but Drew soon got a Coalie of 27cm, he then mised a few bites and managed anothe later on at 28cm, in the last half an hour i managed a Wrasse at 27cm and Drew then got a Pollack of 24cm (I think, correct me if i'm wrong :? ) i then managed a coalie of 26cm, Drew then managed a small sea scorpion and i got a small pouting. all in all not too bad considering the harbour has just been dredged and good to get my first ballan of the year :D :)

good stuff was there (Donaghadee) bout 2 weeks ago ...just before the dredger went into action, my daughter got 2 good Coalies, I blanked was using bigger 0/1 hooks...lot of small stuff but great spot for the kids.

good to hear the dee is fishing again :P and fair play for the perserverance dan. i just hope the wrasse start to come in in better numbers soon, one of the best fighting fish that we have access to on the antrim and down coasts during the summer months :mrgreen:

yea, wrasse have finally made an appearance, hopefully they will be back in the bigger numbers in the next few weeks, i just happened to find one wee bit of hard groung that the dredger must have missed and got the wrasse on it.
