Tide:Dropping
Weather:Sunny, strong NE gusts
Bait:Ragworm
Rigs:3 hook flapper
Results:1 Plaice or Flounder, you decide.
Report:Not much to report here was a very quiet morning but my last two outings were blanks so I was relieved to catch to be honest. The Northerly breeze was freezing so I cast out put the bells on the rod tip and found myself a sheltered spot to keep warm. Bells worked a treat I could hear any bites very clearly, first 3 bites I missed by the time I got to the rod but I didn't miss the next one. The fish put up a nice wee scrap, well happy. Now I would always assume the fish was a Plaice in the past but after seeing alot of spotty Flounder pics on this site I'm not sure to be honest, you judge for yourself. Nice fish anyway!
