Results:5 flounders 1 sea scorp (i thing so attached below)
Report:hi, lads hit the road early at 5am head for dig some lug just below donegal town, arrived round 7. got good bit of these beasties then hit the road again turn to killibegs (gunwell). i was curious what gona happens this time last two went blanked. well i was early march to early supose. arrived 9.30 and what I saw is the best spot is occupated by lobster cases just near to the rocks roaps everywhere so i tookt little corner on the platform.set two rods prepared for bottom fishing, first hour went quiet rods tip shows only couple of wee tuches to the bait, than got my first flounder of the day. wind was so strong that blowed the line up and down so I'd missed some bites too, (another thing is the spot is high above the water 3-4m thing, well who were there knows that). so I was forsed to move down to the rocks to take a shelter, start fishing again us rising water award me with another 4 flounders. happy days though but unfortunetly after 1pm went guiet again why is that couldn't figur it out just like finger click whatever, took a seat smoked a cigarete and there u go tip moved... bang... something on cool reel up and what is it sea scorp heard somewere that if u cath scorp end of the day it's time to tidy up your gear and go home session finished none fish left so that what I did left the site at 2pm of course not for the scorp had to go in dub airport for meeting long drive MONAGHAN-DONEGAL-DUBLIN-MONAGHAN anyway what just couldn't you do to have few moments near ocean, even wnen u know what hard day in a front of you. So another day is gone

Well done grady.
I have fished the gunwell a few times myself but not for a few years now. It's good to see that there is still fish about in that area, the water is very deep there if I remember rightly.
