People: Me
Duration:29th 8.30 pm to 10.30, 30th & 2nd 9.30pm to 10.30pm
Tide:High i think
Weather:calm on thursday and friday, fresher on sunday
Bait:mack and rag
Rigs:two hook flapper size 2 hook
Results:Was down in Wex for weekend so managed to fit in three sessions.
Thursday night got 3 flaties one reasonable size over 20 cm, flatties seem to prefer rag that night anyway. Most activity after dark.
Next two nights, went down just at dusk, seems to make sense as my current experience is that’s when I get the bites.
Got a doggie after a ½ hr was happy with that hadn’t seen one I think since last September, got a small tiddler later, happy enough with the hour…better than the 3 hour blank.
Same again Sunday night got a doggie, small codling and then reeling in to pack up had what I thought was the smallest doggie I’ve ever seen, but without the spots. Smooth grey colouring so not sure, could it be a smooth hound?
All fish returned.
Wind had dropped considerably by Sunday night thank god.
Saw quite a few guys fishing Sunday afternoon, was told a competition. Boy was it windy and cold enough, any decent catches?
Cheers
Paddy

You really shouldn't joke like that. Some people might just try it.roger de dodger wrote:pup tope are common at this time of the year too if your not sure stick your finger in its mouth if you still have a finger its a smoothy
