Thats prob an error on the captioning TBH as I have to agree with Eric, the pic captioned Huss and the Vid do look like they're of entirely different fish. Your top pic titled doggie was the Huss was it?

Eric is spot on here. The fish in the picture labelled "bullhuss" is most certainly just a dogfish.
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Next time Gerry maybe you should kill it chop it head off and post it to the first person that nit picks your posts
. If that approach does not work then progress up the food chain to a horses head
I agree a nice polite PM from Eric with regards the mis-labelling of photos, a quck edit and then hey presto no commotion but then again thats just not his style as we all are only too aware......

Dunno why you are all jumping on Erics back, this another example of gang warfare is it? His initial response was polite and from what I can see correct. It is also accompanied with a cheery
You guys have a personal gripe with someone, go do it off the boards not mid catch report. I amongst others do not want to read it.

i was about to say the same thing..eric wrote:what fins, the anal and second dorsal? the fish in the video is a huss, i not denying that, that fish in the photo, entitled huss is a dogfish. The Austrian wrote:look at the fins eric.eric wrote:the only thing that proves is the picture f the huss and the video are a different fish?
top pic looks more like huss.. so probably mis-labelled?

there is no mistake by me in the report as you can all see in the photo below the times the pictures and video were taken, one thing I always do is double check my reports before I put them upif i did make a mistake i would be the first to hold up my hands and say i made the mistake, when i caught the 10lbs huss last year i took photos of the nasal flaps so i would have some thing to look at when i caught another huss or dog,as for erics cheery
I would take that with a large pinch of salt, its not long ago he wrote hello mate
in a other post to me and then got nasty but I wont go in to that now
as for acting as I did,I should not have post up a video and picture to prove myself right in a simple shore report when I made no mistake, its crap like this that puts a lot of people off putting up shore reports
I love reading shore reports as you can see what fish are about and where to plan a fishing trip and i hope a lot of more people will start putting up shore report and not worry about it leading to a big debate,i am not afraid of a big debate but i think they should be kept out of shore reports
