the baby ray,, conamara

people... myself and tornadeo8...

tide,, full at 5.20pm spring tide..

bait,, razor,mack,sandell,lug.....

weather,,, rain,mist,and a gale of a wind....

results,,, thornie and doggies.....

meet up with mike ,,,aka,, tornadeo8 and went in search of a few ray.. got there for about 7pm after the full tide,,, evening started all alright weather wise but not long into the session the weather changed to a gale, misty and some rain,, made it hard with the tide droping fast with the spring tide... mike was first of the mark on his first cast,, a nice baby ray,, second cast another baby ray and on the third cast a doggie,,, so things where looking up for mike 3cast ,, 3fish,, me nothing i just sat there watching mike have all the luck... but as the night went on the wind really picked up,, it knocked over my tripod two times,, juring that i noticed a little bite on my rod but nothing happened.... reeled in and under all the weed on the trace was a little ray about 4inchs dia.....so blanked saved....... only have one photo of the night but maybe mike might add some he took........ best of luck mike on friday.........

nice one lads, altho ive seen bigger flounder! :twisted:but what do i know, ive not got one this year yet! :roll:

no bass and no ray either??? are you using hooks and bait when fishing :twisted: :twisted:

i know noel i seen bigger gold fish .... although if there are small ones now what is going to be there later,,,,,
