just wondering what lines people prefer..i usually use suffex tritanium and daiwa tornament. Any recomendations? for beach fishing..

chris nothing wrong with the lines you are using mate both very good lines and i have had no problem with either.but ultima power steel is getting rave reviews if you fancy a change.

I use Varivas vermax strong, 15lb which is .33mm. A really good line from veals mail order.

i dont use anything else now, except for a few reels filled with braid, this power steel is great stuff 8)

thanks for the replies lads, the daiwa tornament is grand, il be sticking with that its just the tritanium seems to be getting worn very badly, i only put it on my reel two weeks ago and parts of it are getting all cut up already! The powersteel looks good alright, as you said..pricy but might give it a go. Anyone use the ultima f1 mono? Sounds pretty nice too?

i thought that too, couldnt find any cracks and it only seems to happen with the tritanium? Maybe it was jsut a bad spool? iv used it before and it was fine. I recon it is from the sand, fishing beaches a lot more recently but as i said, only happens with the tritanium!

good line alright. grauvell gold is worth a look too. small diameter, high strength.

ive been using sakuma night crystal lately its top notch.. and the sakuma light crystal is really low in diameter...
