Report:headed towards east cork this mornig stopped off for some big lug rag on way had crab and some frozen razor.Arrived at beach lovely surf and weed free screaming bass
.set up two rods one two hook clipped down lug three hook scratcher in gutter lug rag.quiet to start reeled in changed bait on distance rod to razor lug wraps picked up to change other rod when got what i thought was tap when rod bent oveer fish on lively fight 53cm 4lb bass back out same distance rag on, other rod bent hard shortly after second bass bit smaller 48cm 3.5lb rebait and recast.quietened for a while so decided to change short rod on reeling found bit of weight and pulled in a treble shot of flounder happy days recast nothing happened with other rod so reeled in and rebait only in water matter of minutes bang fish on another bass 38cm quietened again awhile then got another double shot of flounder and one single at close range and one more bass 43cm.decided on a move after another quiet spell first beach one cast weedy so left 
moved on to another thats usually full of surfers but to my joy none were present got set up with same rigs and kicked off nothing for an hour had just sent big juicy lug baits out rod went wallop great fight ensued minutes lateer 60cm 5lb bass 
stayed for another hour and got one more flounder
