diawa reels

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Hello there Forest I use a Daiwa Emcast Evo 5500 for a lot of my shore fishing. I have used it for about two years now and it has never let me down. I have landed plenty of fish with it including ray and dogfish. After each session I wash it down in warm water and give it a general clean up. Every few months I strip it down and oil the bearings and other moving parts and it comes up good as new. When finances allow I will be getting another one.
Ya should a been here last week.

I have both the Emcast Advanced and Emcast Sport in 6000 size. Great reels and never let me down. :D
