Report.hi this my first post so hello to all.i got to beach and it looked good and my first cast caught a bass bout 2 pounds.the mind started to run away with itself thinking of all the bass i was gonna catch,2 hours and 2 mini codling later
i was puzzled and thinking of home when i got a slackliner and hauled a bass bout 3 pound i had 2 more slackline bites after that but missed them.bait gone then so away home.all fish returned. i dont have a camera so no pictures

it is grand mild alright and enough breeze for a bit of surf i wouldnt mind going again but cant unfortunately.anyone else think its very late for codling being caught on the shore

ah yea one of my buddies fished in around youghal yesterday and had a good few small ones.its a good sign for the future
