Saint mullins shad fishing

Has anybody made the trip to saint mullins after the shad or is it still a bit early?

wait for the end of april big tides the shad get traped in the river till mid may big tides and shads can get out

You should be good to go on the next set of spring tides, full moon that is. Normally appear in early May.
