Report:
Fished here Saturday night - not a sniff of a fish all nite (it was flat calm saturday).
Decided to head out again Sunday night and use up some bait.

Checked out the same spot on Sun, there was a small surf going.
What can I say..... craziest nights fishing I had in years . Rods didn't stop all night!
Was only out about 20yrds in the surf - nothing for 20mins, then BOTH rods got hammered together.
6.2lb bass on the first one and a schoolie on the second .

As soon as the rods were back in the water, the first one was off again. As soon as I retrieved (hadn't even got the fish off), the second rod was banging. It was like this all night, non stop action until the tide dropped back a bit and I picked up two hungry whiting.
Had another two schoolies after the whiting, then I packed up or I'd be there all night .
Biggest was the first bass weighing in at 6.2, so he come home for the dinner .

Bait seems to be out fishing the lures at the minute fed up throwing lures are fish that aint interested.

Wooowwww That was one hell of a days fishing you had, what a fantastic result with so many bass caught over that time period - I tell you, that'll take some beating, excellent effort, well done.
