Was up the local river for a bit of trout fishing today...good craic on light gear (4lb mainline

) had about 10 of them on a size 2 mepp. good scrap out of stockies awsel

You see this is what happens when there is more Matt Hayes then Henry Gilby on TV

Nice one Gearoid I'd say on 4lb line it was a bit of crack. What kind of spinners were you using?

Nah Dave I've only used a few spinners for Sea Trout before but I have no idea what they are called? Just bought over the counter. I was just wondering are they the same or would they be smaller?

Gearoid you can be a blooming nuisance at times,

I have just got back from a week of rock / beach and boat fishing and to be honest I feel burned out, now I want to go for the trout,

Who ever said fishing was relaxing should come out with me for a few days and I’m sure they would have a change of heart,

Have you got pats number so I can give him a bell before I go down, maybe if your not too busy we could meet up,

You will be happy to hear the boat is parked up down the coast and the fishin aint too bad, also the little silver fellas have arrived big time at one of my marks, had 3 the other night just as i was about to give up,

So let me know when your ready to rock,

Oh ya nearly forgot, nice fishing dude.

hit the dodder last year with the flyrod, such craic! i love it, dublin city fishing!
got my license for this year but haven't been out yet
