Hi Garry, a customer to our tackle shop in Fermoy, fishes the shore in Dungarvan, he was with us recently an said that now he is using a german sprat, his opinion is that the thin silver bar best represents the sand eel, which is the staple food at this time of year. i know that throughout the last summer he also fished a rapala rattle shad and a surface popper. I hope this is of some help. Fionn
