Cork 17/04/10

#1 Post by cobhscot »

Took a trip out to see what was around in the harbour. Fished over high in the morning, drifting around the usual spots. Had a good selection of takers, cod to 2lb, coalies a few herring and a load of pollack, probably 30 plus fish to 3lb. Could not get the pollack interested in a jellyworm but they had no problem taking the mackeral baited feathers in fact most of the time there was no need to jig the feathers. A good session for the early season.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
