hi flynnboy things are quite in this corner to,,north west,was back in portacloy to nite got 3 founder 2 whiting,all no keepers,first few flat,s iv got in ages,,, but hopefully the fish will be moving in sooooon !
2010 species----flounder,dab,whiting,doggies,coalfish,pollock,siver eel,sea trout,bass,ballen wrasse, thornback ray,mackerel,pouting,red gurnard,grey gurnard,conger eel,launce,mullet,ling,cod,tub gurnard,octopus,bull huss,3 bearded rockling,poor cod

When I caught that little Pollack a few weeks back I thought that was a good sign and the biguns would be coming in soon.... but since then I haven't had so much as a sniff at anything. If they were coming in maybe this bloody freezing weather has made them change their minds and head back out

i feel your pain,
here in the west had a small pollack 2 weeks ago,aiming for bass,hopefully this weekend will produce
'fingers crossed'

The Pollock are starting to show more since the good weather, caught four Coaleys & one Pollock just over 3lb mark saturday & was out today for an hour & caught two more Pollock on a sliver spinner so its looking good!!

Well good for you ! I have family visiting and we have been out every day for the last week and absolutely nothing! Are there fish in the sea here?
