People:me and the father

Duration: 3:00-> 5:30

Tide: bit on both sides

Weather: great

Bait: lug

Rigs:2 hook flapper

Results:
100's of crabs :roll:



Report: Had lug in the freezer, weather was great and i needed some fresh air :) went to a nice lil mark, very quiet. First cast caught 1 big crab and some muscles i think? not sure, anyway spent the day catching crabs :lol: had a fish once or twice but got away. might have some pics :P wonder if these crabs could be used as bait?

dam those pesky crabs, there's always next time. Could always try some floating beads on the traces to keep the grabs away.

unlucky man. the crabs can be a real pain when they're out in force :evil:

ha mate not a lot you can do about the crabs.. i sometimes use floating beads on a trace works now and again.....

by the deepwater berth was it?
I took a swing at the back beach on friday. tiny cod taking crab. and a few maddeningly huge bites that wouldnt connect. like just one or maaybe two big slams and then nothing. half the bail left too small hooks didnt help
