West Waterford 10/04/10

#1 Post by declan65 »

Had a couple of hours to get out and do a bit of lure fishing so headed off to a rock mark. Conditions not great and missed high water too but not to be put off fished all types of lures and soft plastics for about 2 hours after high water. Not much action at all but eventually managed a small schoolie about 25 cms :D , fish was returned safely to get biggger :) . At least thats the first for the year on the lures, fell to a feed shallow only about 5 feet from me.
Everyone should believe in something; I believe I’ll go fishing.

Well done on the schoolie :) I spent 4 hours lure fishing yesterday at a West Cork mark yesterday with various lures but nothing doing :( Going to put in a few hours again today at a different mark and catch the high tide.
