Cahore Beach 9th of April

#1 Post by trout hunter jnr »

People:Me and the father

Duration:8pm until 2

Tide:wet

Weather:Chilly enough

Bait:Lug

Rigs:Homemade

Results:1 Schoolie, Flounder up to 29 cm. , Slimy Rockling, Dab

Report:Left training and headed for the same beach as we had discovered the other day. An alright day with tiddlers All over with the biggest being my flounder of 29cm NO SEA TROUT THOUGH

Pic to come of flounder
Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!

Less GAA and more fishing! Nice sized flounder though man. I'd say your looking forward to the holidays now that the sun is starting to shine.
