Michael Prichard - Author
I have a few books by Mike Prichard...they were written in the 70's...just wondering does anyone know if he's still alive. He used to come to Ireland a lot for both sea and coarse fishing.

Good author from my early days, might be worth dropping Harper Collins and email as I seem to remember that most of his books were published by them.

I was in contact with him by email about 6/7yrs ago, he gave me loads of advice about fishing in Kerry, I met him over in Stranraer when he stayed on our caravan park, can't even find his email now though, I bet Bob Moss would know him.

In the mid 80's I got hold of a bunch of sea fishing and coarse fishing books written by him that really fired my passion for the sport and I recently dug them out. Very outdated now. He was big into fishing in Ireland...Co. Clare features quite a lot. I think he captained some English boat fishing teams against the home nations back in the 70's...something about a Tylers Cup fished out of Cobh.

I heard, about 6/7 months back that Michael was living in South Africa.I will check up with the messenger.
Michael certainly spent a lot of time in Ireland during the late 70's and early 80's.
