Lads,
I hope this is in the right forum and that someone out there can help me out.
A mate of mine has an old Daiwa TDPK13M, just the blank. He stripped it down some time ago and has asked me to rebuild it for him but I've no idea of the original blanks recommended ring spacings.
Anyone got any ideas where I might fins this info? Or has someone got this rod, maybe you wouldn't mind taking a few measurements for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Liam

Have you tried contacting Daiwa?
If you have no joy then I have a Daiwa PKCS 13M which was the model before the Team Daiwa, and as far as I know the blanks have a very similar action. Just a case of taking some measurements.
Suggest you try to get the proper spacings just in case though.

Liamo,
If you cant find the exact spacings that Daiwa use, then tape the guides on and see how they act under pressure, all your checking for is that the line is an even distance from the blank. Beieve me 99.99% of the time if they look right they perform right.
I build quite a few rods, if you need to, send me a PM and I will try to help you.
