shannon estuary fishing limerick coast

#1 Post by gearoid mc s. »

giong thru the website i get the impression that alot of anglers think the limerick side of the shannon is bad for fishing compared to the clare coast, i had great sucess from the limerick side over the summer with ray, huss, dab, conger and whiting just wondering if anyone else tinks the souytside is as good for fishing as i do?

Gearoid,
I think that the limerick side is probably as good as the clare side. Half the battle is knowing when each mark fishes best i.e. tide, weather, etc.

Have you caught many whiting lately? I havnt got any yet since before the summer.
