just in the door from an aborted fishing trip :( :( :( metcheck predicted 30mph easterly winds and -1 temps with heavy sleet/ rain /snow. pretty much hit the prediction spot on other than the winds gusting to easily 50mph    . soaked to the skin and almost blown off the pier with every cast resulting in 20lb of kelp fouling the rigs within 5 mins. depressing stuff without a sign of a fish. but if you get out and fish the first flooding tide into darkness when the weather breaks there will be plenty of natural bait churned up for them to have a good feed on  that's when we'll be back out to do it all over again :P

Wind seems to drop off on Sunday and Monday then kicks back in Tuesday , so give the Mrs a good seeing off on Saturday and hop back into bed to rest up for a good day of it on Sunday / Monday,

Bring the rain gear,

hi, lads all of you are right in this case. Thanks for advises. :) Bad weather woun't stom me to go out, but the thing is last couple of trips were no good at all, even in good weather conditions, so I just wondering is this kind of weather beter or worst. Now I can go ahead meet the ocean unless I'll pick a wrong spot. Cheers everybody good lads :!:
