At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

looking for a match rod, around 13ft 6' to 14 ft in length, good tip and able to send a bait a good distance.
Any advice or suggestions?

how much you willing to spend... one of the best value for money has to be the salt range for shakespeare...
I use a Anyfish Anywhere Surf for alot of my comps.. but we fish a lot of clean beaches and deal with lighter fish..

Only 1 option in my opinion for a match rod, zziplex HSM. It has a great tip, bit of poke in the butt when needed and its 13.5 ft.

Bigballs has a zziplex up for grabs at right money but i dont know if it will suit your style of fishing,

Have to agree with "John 1" though,

The Triplex is a wicked tool and its action saved me losing my PB Bass which was very lightly hooked in a good surf,

Couldnt believe i got the Bass in when i seen the little bit of skin that the hook had gripped.
